Any idea what is causing this? In reply to jag's post on June 7, The system restore was the first thing I tried. Like I said, I fixed the auto-scrolling but now the mouse wheel does not work because I had to shut off auto-scrolling. The problem began two days ago, so maybe my mouse is going out. It's a microsoft wireless v2. I changed the batteries and reinstalled the drivers but it may be something with the internal operation.

I found a workaraund for this too: If I change the mouse type in IntellyPoint to any other mouse, which has no tilt wheel option the scrolling will work normally again but of course I loose the option to sroll vertically. It vould be nice to fix this bug ASAP. Wednesday, March 21, AM. The scroll wheel problem has been fixed with Google Earth 4.

In XP the mouse wheel works perfect, however in Vista the vertical scrolling problem becomes really annoying by using certain applications like iTunes, Google Picasa, OpenOffice and others The problem disappear after putting the PC on Sleep mode. The vertical scrolling works fine in the above applications but, the configuration of the wheel changes dramatically in Firefox or IE.
The wheel becomes too sensitive and even scrolling 1 mm. Killing ipoint. Probably a bug in the Intellipoint software in Vista. Tuesday, September 30, AM. I think MS is too lazy to fix this bug. The problem exist in the newest intellipoint 6. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one having this problem and disappointed that there are no solutions yet.
It's a real pain working with Eclipse and other IDE and having to scroll real hard to make this work! Works fine for me in Firefox How can this be? Wednesday, October 1, PM. I'm using Intellipoint 6.
